If you’ve a child under ten, you are probably (overly) familiar with Peppa Pig, her family, her friends, her pets and her toys.
Prepare for your kids to love you even more by taking them to see Peppa live on stage in her latest show; Peppa Pig’s Big Splash.
We saw it at The Orchard Theatre in Dartford last weekend and safe to say, every child in the audience loved it. There were some over enthusiastic brave hearts who were overcome by Peppa in the flesh that they tried to make a dash for her on the stage only to be thwarted by their quick thinking parents.
Peppa Pig’s Big Splash is all about muddy puddles, jumping in said puddles, being a friend, singing, working together and it’s probably the most wholesome thing I’ve ever seen.
There’s singing and dancing and up-out-of-your-seat-ness and it’s pitched at the very young (there were 2 year olds there) and the pre-tweens. It’s long enough to keep their attention, 45 mins, a 20 minute interval and a final 25 minutes but not so long they’re getting restless which can happen at the cinema sometimes.
Make sure you bring cash; the Peppa Pig merchandise will set you back a pretty penny!
Peppa Pig’s Big Splash in on tour until October 2014 (not all tickets are on sale yet) simply visit to see she’s at a town near you.
